IMPORTANT NOTE: Participation in the Mock Election is a pre-requisite for a student’s entry into the Promote the Vote Grade-level Contests.
Likewise, school-wide and/or district-wide participation in the 2011 Promote the Vote Mock Election is a pre-requisite for consideration for
the overall school-wide and district-wide competitions.

The purpose of these contests is to educate students on the political process with a particular emphasis on how their individual
vote represents their choice of candidates and expresses their voice on current issues including the Constitutional Initiatives process.
