 2013 Municipal Elections Certification Training Memo & Pre-Registration Form

Note: Because of limited availability, we ask that all persons planning to attend certification training please read the memo and complete the pre-registration form in its entirety. You will need to send it in to our office as directed. Important - Make sure to mark the voting device portion of the registration as we will only offer voting device training at the sessions for those who require it. As a courtesy, please notify our office of any cancellations in advance of the training session so others may attend in your place.

May 23, 2013 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at Mississippi Public Broadcasting Auditorium, 3825 Ridgewood Rd, Jackson

IMPORTANT:There will not be any more sessions scheduled beyond the above-mentioned date. If your City is not fully certified to run your Election at this time (Remember, a minimum of 3-7 Election Commissioners must be certified through the Secretary of State’s Office to run the June 4, 2013 General Election dependent upon your population, Pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. Section 23-15-221), we highly suggest you make every effort to attend this final training session.
