No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of the Constitution,shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five (35) years, and been fourteen (14) years a resident within the United States. Certificates of Nomination must be accompanied by a list of Presidential electors including the electors’ addresses and signed electors’ certificates, submitted with a qualifying fee of $2,500 to the Secretary of State’s Office.
Independent Candidates’ nominating petitions, containing signatures of not less than 1,000 qualified electors of this state, must also be accompanied by a list of Presidential electors including the electors’ addresses and signed electors’ certificates and submitted with a qualifying fee of $2,500 to the Secretary of State’s Office.Miss.
