Political Party Candidates submit a Statement of Intent and a qualifying fee as set forth in the Candidate Qualifying Guide to the appropriate executive party.

Independent Candidates file a Statement of Intent, petition containing signatures of not less than 1,000 qualified electors of the state, and $1,000 qualifying fee to the Secretary of State’s Office.
