The Technology and Intellectual Property Laws Study Group was created in the summer of 2010 by the Secretary of State's Office. The Study Group held four meetings and several subgroup (Trade Secrets Act and Right of Privacy, Incentives and Computer Issues) meetings. Copies of the meeting agendas and minutes are set forth below. The Study Group proposed the following bills to the Legislature:
- College Private Research Investment Act
- Digital Development Incentive Act
- Mississippi Right of Publicity Act
- Amendments to the Mississippi Trade Secrets Act (Sections 75-26-1 et seq.)
